Leaving a Legacy Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the
things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. Deut. 4:9 Many people today are concerned about the legacy they will leave. We want to know that our life mattered and that we made a difference in the world. We want to be sure the things we love and value in our own lives are still here for our children and grandchildren tomorrow. We want to uphold our responsibility to this world we live in and the people with whom we share this space, as well as the next generations. We have this choice, right now. To use our gift to make a difference in someone else's life. So many people we have the pleasure of knowing through our work in shaping the nature of care have shared their knowledge, skills, history, purpose, meaning, and spirit with us. They have generously shared their legacy so that we might learn their lessons, benefit from their insights, and go on to share the message of EarthWonders Ecology of Caring to others - the importance of caring for ourselves, each other, our communities, our planet and future generations. We invite you to join us in leaving a meaningful legacy of caring. Become a part of the EarthWonders Movement™ to shape the nature of care in a new way. |
